Draft: this page is still being checked and may change before the site launches.

Custom Wood Built (Ronan Wood, ABN 35 651 955 984) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and our quoting and invoicing, why, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Your name, phone number, email address and the address of the job.
• Details of the work you ask us to quote on, and any photos you attach. Photos are emailed straight to us and aren’t stored on this website.
• Booking times, quotes, signed acceptances, invoices and payment records for jobs we do for you.

Why we collect it

To contact you about your enquiry, visit the site, quote and do the work, invoice you, meet our legal and tax obligations, and stand behind our warranty. We don’t sell your information or use it for anything else.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted services to run the business, and they only get what they need:

• Cloudflare, which hosts this website and stores enquiries and job records.
• Our email provider, which delivers your enquiry (with any photos) to us, and sends you booking confirmations, quotes and invoices.
• Stripe, if you choose to pay by card. We never see or store your full card details.
• Our accountant, who receives our sales and payment records to prepare our tax returns.
• Trades we engage for your job (for example a plumber or electrician), who get the details they need to do their part.

Some of these services may store information outside Australia.

Cookies and analytics

This site doesn’t use tracking or advertising cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.

Keeping it safe

Your information is stored with access limited to us. Links to your job page are private and can be cancelled at any time. We keep records for as long as the law requires for tax and building work, then delete them.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your information

Email [email protected] to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it where we’re not required to keep it. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, tell us and we’ll try to fix it.
